One thing we ALWAYS do is to check with whoever is distributing aid in a town, to make sure we get them exactly what they need. The last thing we want to do is waste precious funds delivering goods they don't need at that moment. The need in every location is different. For example, in Shevchenkove they told us they were pretty much all set for food, but there was an acute need for hygiene products. So, we loaded up with hundreds of boxes of laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, disinfectant and cleaning products.
